It is hot throughout the year, with a temperature range between 29 degrees and 34 degrees during the day.

Phuket is fairly hot all year round, but the best time of the year is between November and February when the weather is coolest compared to the rest of the year.

Tuk Tuk - TukTuk’s are a fun way to get around. You will have to negotiate and agree on a fare before riding.

Taxi - Metered taxis are quite common in Phuket and are cheaper than TukTuks.

Songthaew - Small minivans, commonly used by locals, you will have to negotiate an amount before riding.

You can go surfing, freediving, boating, and even snorkeling.

• Dress appropriately in Buddhist temples, and cover your shoulders and legs (till the knee).
• You cannot buy alcohol on Buddha Days.
• Images of Buddha are highly regarded in Thailand. Buying statues and getting Buddhist tattoos (if you are not Buddhist) is considered disrespectful, sometimes even illegal.
