Arriving Home from Antalya
The best time to visit Antalya, Turkey, depends on the weather you’re expecting to experience.
Summer (May to August)
If you’re looking for sunshine, summer is the best time to visit Antalya, where you can sunbathe at the beach. Note that they may be overcrowded. These are the hottest months of the year, with temperatures ranging from 23 degrees to 32 degrees.
Winter (December to February)
You can experience cooler weather during these months. Temperatures range between 15 degrees and 12 degrees. The beaches can get quite cold, and there are chances of rain as well.
Spring (March to April)
If you’re looking for something in-between hot and cold, these are the months to visit Antalya. Temperatures range between 19 degrees and 23 degrees. You can enjoy all the activities Antalya has to offer. One thing to keep in mind is that it can get crowded during Easter.
Private Transfer/ Taxi: If you want a more private, luxurious experience, hire a driver to take you around. Taxis will save you a lot of time but can be costly.
Public Bus: Travel with the locals and get around town. Busses are one of the cheapest options. You will need an AntalyaKart (bus pass).
Damlatas Beach and Cleopatra Beach are the most popular beaches in Antalya.
The Alaaddin Mosque (Yivliminaret Mosque) is one of Antalya’s iconic landmarks. Historic ruins like Hadrian’s Gate and ancient attractions like the Aspendos Theatre and the city of Termessos are also popular attractions.
